We hold three social events during the year. The main event is our Annual Gathering and Supper<\/a> and we also hold two smaller socials in the Spring<\/a> and at the Summer Solstice<\/a>. If interested in attending please look out for announcements in our newsletters<\/a> or contact the Secretary<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Members organise their own expeditions<\/a> independently of the club, which was set up to enable the sharing of expedition planning information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We distribute newsletters<\/a> three times a year containing articles and information submitted by club members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our library of over 350 books is hosted by the Royal Scottish Geographical Society<\/a> (RSGS) in Perth, along with the library of Angus Erskine and the Polar Collection of the RSGS.
