In 1984, with the support of donations from Hugh Lang, John Arnott, Angus Erskine and Iain Smart, the Club acquired an extensive library of Arctic books collected by the late Irene and George Waterston. This library numbers over 350 books. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our library is hosted by the\u00a0Royal Scottish Geographical Society<\/a>\u00a0(RSGS). It is displayed on purpose built shelves in the\u00a0Shackleton Room<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0Lord John Murray House, Perth<\/strong>\u00a0along with the library of\u00a0Angus Erskine<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Polar Collection<\/strong>\u00a0of the RSGS. SAC members can consult these libraries on request (please contact the RSGS first on 01738 455 050 or\u00a0enquiries@rsgs.org<\/a>). The catalogue of the original SAC library is available to download<\/a>.
