The 2023 Annual Gathering and Supper was held at the Ben Nevis Hotel, Fort William on Saturday 18th November 2023. There were three SAEF award presentations as well as presentations by SAC members. Our guest speaker told us about the Orcadian explorer John Rae, and the efforts by the John Rae Society to renovate his childhood home, Hall of Clestrain.
